When Harry Pratt, the owner of North Shore Oil, started to see how his fuel oil customers would struggle with their heating bills, he knew he should be the person to help them find alternatives. Realizing that the folks in Central New York were surrounded by locally harvested and developed alternative fuels, Harry and his team developed a plan. Central New York needed an energy supplier who could offer them fuels such as coal ,wood pellets and corn as well as the proper appliances to burn them. The team at North Shore Oil immediately started searching the world for the best and safest alternative energy products available. They displayed these products in one of the most beautiful showrooms in the North East.
Fireside Chatts was born. Shortly thereafter, in 2007, they hired Frank Sappo, a then 23 year hearth and stove veteran to help guide their customers along the journey towards alternative heating. Now, years later, Fireside Chatts has become the destination for folks looking to beautify their homes with a new fireplace, or save money on their heating needs. Sometimes folks just stop by and sit in front of a fire on one of the comfortable couches and have a fireside chat of their own. Whatever your reason, there’s always a warm place for you here at Fireside Chatts. |
